The USCG SFLC PBPL will procure four Michigan Wheel Operations, LLC propellers in a one-time purchase, fixed price contract. The propellers are required as government furnished equipment (GFE) in support of the 154’ WPC class vessels. Michigan Wheel Operations, LLC will manufacture the required propellers IAW their proprietary drawings and manufacturing processes for use on the USCG 154’ WPC vessels. The propellers are standard configuration throughout the 154’ WPC fleet and are critical to the propulsion shaft drive line for forward and aft thrust and vessel operations. Onsite quality assurance inspection by USCG SFLC Quality Assurance (QA) personnel will be required prior to shipping to verify contract compliance. Each item will then be individually packaged/crated (as appropriate), marked or labeled, bar coded and shipped to the USCG’s central warehouse located in Baltimore, Maryland. Some propellers may be direct shipped to various USCG vessels or facilities throughout the world. Used as part of the propulsion system on the 154’ WPC vessels. ii. Part No. 531915, NSN 2010-01-628-0276 – 154’ WPC Propeller, Right-Hand, Diameter – 1867 mm, No. Blades – Six, Design Pitch at 0.7R – 2449 mm, Material – ABS Type 4 NIBRAL, Manufacturing Accuracy – ISO 484/2-1981 Class S, Classification – ABS 2007 HSNC. Used as part of the propulsion shaft system on the 154’ WPC vessels. The propellers listed above are used in critical systems and shall be manufactured and tested IAW OEM drawings and technical specifications as designed and installed during vessel manufacture or subsequent system upgrades specifically for the 154’ WPC class vessels. Michigan Wheel Operations, LLC is the OEM of the propellers associated with this requirement.
