REFUSE COLLECTION AND RECYCLING – Scranton, PA (PA162)
The U.S. Army Contracting Command – New Jersey, Warfighter Support Division has a follow-on requirement for Refuse Collection and Recycling Services at the Scranton Armed Forces Reserve Center (AFRC), 3401 Olyphant Ave, Scranton, PA 18509 in support of the 99th Readiness Division. Refuse Collection and Recycling Services include but are not limited to refuse pickup/disposal, recycling pickup/disposal, container use fee.
The Government intends to award a single firm-fixed-price requirements contract as a result of the solicitation to be issued.
The anticipated period of performance is one 12-month base period and four, 12-monh options.
Product Service Code (PSC) S205: Trash/Garbage Collection Services.
North American Industry Classification Standards (NAICS) code: 562111 - Solid Waste Collection.
Place of Performance: Scranton Armed Forces Reserve Center (AFRC), 3401 Olyphant Ave, Scranton, PA 18509.

Based on the responses to Request for Information/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses (in full or in part) or procured through full and open competition. The purpose of this notice is to obtain the following information:
(1) The availability and capability of qualified sources
(2) Whether they are a small or large business relative to their size classification under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for the proposed acquisition 562111 - Solid Waste Collection with a small business size standard of $12,500,000.00.
