NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE
Marine Corps Field Contracting System, Marine Corps Installations East, Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, NC hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Vertiv Corporation, 505 N Cleveland AVE, Westerville, Ohio 43082-7130, United States in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one source reasonably available.
THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
This requirement is for the purchase of one hundred twenty (120) Datasafe HX Top Terminated Batteries, part number 12HX300, and battery installation and replacement services. The current batteries are at end of life and must be replaced in order to keep the installed UPS system operational.

This is a brand name requirement is for the purchase of one hundred twenty (120) Datasafe HX Top Terminated Batteries, part number 12HX300, for the Telecommunications Division (TSD) aboard Marine Corps Installation, Camp Lejeune. The batteries are manufactured by Enersys Advanced Systems Inc.
