Sitework and Paving IQIQ Sources Sought Synopsis
This is a Sources Sought/Request for information (RFI) for a Sitework and Paving Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) at Hanscom Air Force Base (AFB). Hanscom AFB anticipates awarding one (1) Firm-Fixed Price IDIQ construction contract under the North American Classification System (NAICS) 237310 with the size standard of $45M. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. THIS IS NOT A SOLICATIATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS.
The purpose of the Sources Sought/RFI is to conduct market research for planning purposes to determine if responsible sources exist and to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive. This Sources Sought/RFI is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract.
The general scope of the prospective contract is for the Contractors to provide repair or replacement of roadways, curbing and sidewalks, including required demolition and earthwork at various locations throughout Hanscom Air Force Base, Sagamore Hill Electronics Research Annex, Hamilton, MA, Fourth Cliff Recreation Annex, Humarock, MA, Cape Cod Air Force Station, Sagamore, MA and New Boston Air Force Station, New Boston, NH. The government intends to establish one (1) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Sitework & Paving. Requirements examples of the type of work may include, but are not limited to: the furnishing of all management, labor, material, equipment, transportation, supervision, and minor designs to accomplish simultaneous pavement maintenance projects. Physical construction will consist of installation and repair of paving and any incidental items such as utility lines, repair and install fencing, manholes and landscaping. These objectives shall be achieved through the implementation of Task Orders issued under the terms of the IDIQ contract for all the heroin described tasks or additional tasks described in specific task orders, the Sitework and Paving IDIQ is anticipated to have a Not to Exceed ceiling value of $35 million over a five-year ordering. Offers will be evaluated utilizing a price-based evaluation. Use of price as the only evaluation factor is the most advantageous approach to the Government.
