Home, Tennessee, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 9 is issuing this Sources Sought Notice (SSN) as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for a firm-fixed-priced purchase order for two gear reducers for Marley cooling towers. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. Situation: The four cooling towers at the Energy Center, Bldg 208 are approximately 25 years old and require the fan motor gear reducers on hand for possible emergent replacement. Cooling towers are 100% loaded during the cooling season and replacement parts must be on hand and immediately available to provide utility services to the hospital. These gear reducers are specialty units that must function within the existing Marley cooling towers. Note: The Marley 2250 Gear Reducer is the current replacement for the 2200-series box.
