BOSTON NATIONAL HISTORICAL PARK - PACK & MOVE MUSEUM COLLECTIONS
The purpose of this contract is to pack and move 1,243.27 linear feet of archives, 178.67 linear feet of rare books and approximately 31,046 objects of museum collections from Boston National Historical Park, Building 107, Charlestown Navy Yard, Charlestown, MA to two separate locations for temporary storage while Building 107 undergoes a major renovation.
Contractor shall be responsible for all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, fuel, and transport for the pack and move of museum objects to their identified locations. National Park Service personnel will be present to oversee the move, but it is the Contractor's responsibility to do the packing and moving and install of storage equipment at the identified locations. The Contractor will pack, transport, offload, reload, unpack, and install museum collections to two locations as detailed in the attached Scope of Work.
The clause 52.237-1 Site Visit will be included in any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation. Accordingly, offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. An organized site visit has been scheduled for May 29, 2025, at 9:00 AM ET. All interested parties shall meet at Boston National Historical Park, Building 107, Charlestown Navy Yard, Charlestown, MA. Parking is not available within Boston National Historical Park.
