HI MIDWAY ATOLL NWR TRANSPORTATION/BOAT SERVICES IDIQ
This requirement is for a Transportation Service single award IDIQ from HI to Midway with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service.
Vendor shall submit:
A. Evidence of the vessel being able to transport the items identified in the SOW in one trip.
B. Evidence that the vessel will provide up to 3 small boats that are capable of transporting a minimum of 6 people at a time.
C. Confirmation that the vendor will provide passengers three (3) hot meals/day during transit.
D. Confirmation that the vendor can provide service with as little as two (2) weeks notice for a voyage.
Three (3) relevant projects, but no more than five (5) relevant projects completed in the past five (5) years
that are similar in scope and complexity to the project requirements specified in this solicitation that demonstrate:
1. Managing invasive algae mitigation. If vendor has no experience in this area, they may submit a detailed
plan or procedures (with price break down and quotes) to address the prevention of transporting algae in Hawaii
to Midway.
2. Evidence that the Captain and small boat operators have experience working in 'Particularly Sensitive Sea
Areas' and Marine Protected Areas which include driving vessels and small boats near shallow coral reefs.
The contracts may include those entered into with Federal, State, and local governments, and commercial
businesses. For all submitted projects, the description of the project shall clearly describe the scope of work
performed and the relevancy to the project requirements of this solicitation. Each project shall list a
reference.
Government reserves the right to consider information obtained from any other sources such as the Federal
Awardee Performance and Integrity Information System (FAPIIS) when evaluating the Offeror¿s past
performance.
