AMENDMENT 0001 – This amendment is issued for the original Sources Sought notice. The following changes are hereby incorporated:
1.) Additional Information for Capability Statements: Additional requirements have been added for capability statements. Please refer to the “Submission Requirements” section below for further details.
2.) New Vendor Response Format: A revised vendor response format has been introduced. All responses must be submitted using this updated format.
3.) Extended Response Deadline: The deadline for vendor responses has been extended from 05 June 2025 to 12 June 2025.
THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI)/ SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT to
conduct market research relative to Medical Waste (Autoinjector) Removal and Disposal Services. This RFI announcement is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP), and the Government is not committed to award a contract pursuant to this announcement. The information from this RFI is for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract.
This is a performance-based service contract capable of assisting the Department of the Air Force (DAF) in removing and disposing of medical waste, specifically various amounts of expired unused Antidote Treatment Nerve Agent Autoinjectors (ATNAA), Diazepam autoinjectors and Midazolam. The number of sites and quantities that need disposal service will vary from year-to-year. The contract shall include service for both the continental United States (CONUS) and outside the continental United States (OCONUS). The Government’s need for on-site and/or off-site processing is imperative to assure optimum inventory control and to eliminate the violation of laws and regulations, especially in waste disposal. Contractors shall be compliant with all applicable regulations related to handling pharmaceutical waste, hazardous waste, and controlled substances.

1st Option Period: 30 Sep 2026- 29 Sep 2027
2nd Option Period: 30 Sep 2027- 29 Sep 2028
3rd Option Period: 30 Sep 2028- 29 Sep 2029
4th Option Period: 30 Sep 2029- 29 Sep 2030
