The Facilities Repair and Renewal (FRR) program has a potential FY25 OCONUS requirement at USAMMA in Sagami, Japan. The requirement is to replace pallet racking in two warehouses with trifold racking system that will hold medical supplies as well as some electrical modifications.
However, there is a requirement, since the racking will have to be anchored into the floor due to seismic activity, that the contractor is required to have a Japanese Construction License (JCL).
Please respond to the following questions:
- Does your firm possess a JCL; if not, would your firm be willing to acquire one?
- Does your firm currently have a joint venture (jv) with a firm that has worked in Japan and has a JCL?
- If your firm is licensed by the Government of Japan or has an affiliation with a licensed firm, would your firm be interested in submitting a proposal for the subject requirement in Japan?
