This solicitation covers the design of an elevator with vestibule for accessibility from the main entrance to 2 upper floors inside a U.S. Government-owned building, to meet the ABA (Architectural Barriers Act) requirements. The project involves - but is not limited to - the following:
• Factory and assembly planning, delivery and assembly according to the American Architectural Barriers Act (ABA guidelines)
• Machine room-less cable elevator with shaft pit, elevator with multiple doors, 3 stops
• Cabin layout and door width according to the ABA guidelines
• The elevator will be mounted inside a steel-glass tower over 3 floors
• Submission to the building authority department MA37A for elevator building permit
• TUEV preliminary inspection and TUEV acceptance
All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
