The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, MD, intends to enter into sole source negotiations and subsequently award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) modification under Contract N0001919C0008. The anticipated modification is for the procurement of Mass Sims and Red Landing Gear to support LRIP-6 (B24, B25, B26 and AUS4) and follow on UA production builds. These items are being procured as tooling to support the UAs with ATP’s and, in the case of the mass sims, provide additional support for flight testing and delivery flights. Contract award is anticipated for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2025. The anticipated period of performance will be for approximately 12 months. This requirement will be procured in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under Title 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one
responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. NGSC is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer, integrator, and producer of the MQ-4C Triton air vehicles and ground stations. Therefore, NGSC is the only source with the requisite knowledge of the Triton design, operation, and maintenance to successfully provide the necessary engineering, systems integration, and sustainment support. Unless otherwise stated herein, no formal request for proposal or additional
written information is currently available. A determination by the Government not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government.
