The intent of this project is for the Contractor to demolish Building 1825 and Building 1839. Work includes the abatement and proper disposal of hazardous materials, complete removal of Building 1825 and Building 1839 to include foundations, removal of site improvements, removal of utility services, removal of geothermal well and site restoration in accordance with the SOW and attached plans, specifications, and hazardous materials testing report.
The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials to execute work under this contract in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and codes referenced in this Statement of Work and contained within the project specifications.
The project is located at Building 1825 and Building 1839, Hanscom Air Force Base, MA, Town of Bedford. B1825 was originally constructed in 1955 and consists of 3000 gross square feet. B1839 was originally constructed in 1955 and serve as a storage unit of N/A gross square feet. The building is currently vacant and was formerly used as office space. Hazardous materials have been identified in this building.
