Waterway Debris Removal Related To Hurricane Helene Lake Tahoma, And The Big Buck Creek And Little Buck Creek, McDowell County, North Carolina
This is a Sources Sought/Request for Information only. This is NOT a Solicitation Announcement, nor is it a Request for Proposal. This request does not obligate the Government in any contract award.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District, (CESAW) is conducting research to determine the market capabilities of potential contractors to perform emergency debris removal – dredging. CESAW wants to identify contractors experienced with strategies, procedures to accomplish this requirement and has the resources to respond to the Helene Hurricane ongoing recovery missions for this lake, impacted by recent storms and Hurricane Helene. The works areas for this dredging service are Lake Tahoma and the immediately adjacent feed waters, Buck and Little Buck Creeks, City of Marion, County of McDowell State of NC.
The overall magnitude of construction for this project will be between $250,000,000 and $500,000,000; if all options exercised.
