Specifications include, but are not limited to: he complete cleaning of HVAC and Boiler systems with the Materials and Research Building. The HVAC system includes, but may not be limited to, the interior surfaces of the facilities air distribution system of all occupied zones. Including air ducts (fresh and return air), (2) air handling units (AHU), approximately (48) variable air volume boxes (VAV), fans, reheat coils and diffusers. Included in the scope of work is the cleaning of (9) boilers. Containment -Debris removed or collected must be contained and not disbursed outside the HVAC system during cleaning process. Odor Control - Measures shall be employed to control odors during the cleaning process. Service Openings – The contractor shall utilize any service openings to properly clean HVAC system. If other openings need to be created they must be sealed in accordance to industry standards. Ceiling - Care must be given to the removal of ceiling tiles to gain access to HVAV system during cleaning process. Any debris must be cleaned up by contractor during duct and VAV cleaning in occupied and unoccupied areas.
