This solicitation is a "REQUEST FOR INFORMATION" only for the proposed contract work listed in the requirements section below. This Sources Sought Notice is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. Final plans and specifications are not available at this time. Responses to this Sources Sought must be received by email no later than the date specified in the response section. This intent of this sources sought is for market research to determine contractors with the necessary experience and resources capable of performing this work. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company has the capability and experience to compete for this acquisition.

NAICS Code 237310, Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction apply to this procurement with a size standard of $45 million.

Project Location and Type of Work –
The purpose of this project is to rehabilitate the Gardner River High Bridge in Yellowstone National Park. This 1.5-mile project includes: Bridge Preservation and rehabilitation work for the Gardner River High Bridge. The bridge located between Mammoth, WY and Tower, WY in Yellowstone National Park is in need of rehabilitation to prevent major issues associated with further deterioration.
The primary objective of the proposed contract is to repaint the entire structure, repair miscellaneous concrete and steel elements, replace approach span decks, replace bridge joints, repair drainage system, and install a thin bonded epoxy deck overlay.
Additional Project Details
The scope of work will require a specialized contractor that is experienced in performing bridge preservation work, within culturally and environmentally sensitive areas, while maintain public traffic with no available detour or traffic diversion.
The estimated period of performance will consist of a notice to proceed in April 2026 and a fixed completion in July 2027.
