Scope of Work This requirement needs to provide VA Approved Holsters and Optics. 2. Background The C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center s Police Service requires specialized holsters for their weapons. The stock holsters that come with the weapon itself do not allow for added accessories such as a light source or laser pointer that would be attached to the weapon, to also be properly secured on the officer s person. The Blackhawk holsters allow not only for the weapon, but any added accessories that the office may need, while maintaining it securely at the officer s waist, without fear of tapering or compromise the officer s security doing their duty. 3.
