The 87th Air Base Wing Airshow committee is seeking 21 portable, wire-free weapon detection systems suitable for indoor and outdoor during the JB MDL Open House Air Show 16 May -18 May. The weapons detection systems will be placed at designated locations to support security operations & must be capable of screening a minumum of 1,200 people per hour per lane while causing minimal disruption to pedestrian flow. The systems must be able to:
A. Identify high-caliber firearms, large metallic threats, and mass casualty weapons
B. Maintain near-zero false alarm rates to ensure smooth operations
C. Support screening of mobility aids (wheelchairs, strollers, etc.)
and other capabilities IAW the Performance Work Statement.
Service must include delivery, service, assembly, installation, training, support, and return service/pick-up. On call 24/7 tech support for troubleshooting.
