The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) is issuing this sources sought notice (SSN) on behalf of the Defense Centers for Public Health-Aberdeen (DCPH-A) as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the requirement for Pest Control Services.
All work contained in this requirement shall be performed at 8300 Ricketts Point Road, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21010, Building E-2850.
(a) The contractor must utilize one or more of the 3 rodent bait stations approved by the Armed Forces Pest Management Board (AFPMB) {Figure #1}. The contractor must use rodenticide on the active federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) registration and must be registered for use in Maryland {Figure #2}. The contractor shall maintain stock for government use at 10% extra traps rounded up to nearest whole unit and 1 unisex box of sterile gloves per month.
(b) Check the traps once every month for the next eleven months to empty or replace traps as needed. The Contractor shall inspect stock for government use and replenish as required at monthly visit.
(c) Prepare a monthly report to show work done to maintain pest control. A list of what type of pests and quantity of pests shall be provided.
