The Bureau of Reclamation, Eastern Colorado Area Office (ECAO), is seeking sources to support the completion of trash removal services for the Mt. Elbert Powerplant (MTE), located near Twin Lakes, Colorado.
THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTE, OR AN INVITATION FOR BIDS and does not constitute any commitment by the Government. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice. All interested sources must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to the sources sought notice. The information obtained may be used for the future solicitation.
The performance requirement for this acquisition is to remove garbage from MTE once per week. This requirement also includes the rental of three (3) 4-yard dumpsters - to be provided by contractor.
The Government anticipates the term of the purchase order shall be from September 1, 2025, through August 31, 2026, plus four 1-year option periods. Reclamation will exercise such option periods at the Government¿s discretion.

SMALL BUSINESS CERTIFICATION WITH THE SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (SBA):
The Government is only interested in responses from small businesses that can execute the removal of garbage. Please identify your federally designated small business category or categories.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this project is 562111, Small Business Standard Size $47.0M. All interested parties should verify that they fall under the NAICS code as a Small Business prior to submission. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make the appropriate acquisition decision. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov).
The government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity. Based on the responses to this Sources Sought Notice/Market Research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses or procured through full and open competition.
Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to perform the above listed services are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice no later than 2:00 p.m. (1400) (MDT), April 28, 2025.
All responses under this Sources Sought Notice must be emailed to the Contracting Specialist and carbon copy the Contracting Officer identified within the attachment. Facsimiles will not be accepted. Oral communications ARE NOT acceptable in response to this notice.
