The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – New England District is issuing a Solicitation Notice for Electrical Service Installation, Northfield Dam, Thomaston, CT.
THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Furnish all labor, equipment, and materials to complete an electrical service installation for a restroom trailer pad at Northfield Brook Lake:
- Install new subsurface electrical service from existing utility pole to existing utility box and to asphalt restroom trailer pad.
- Install watertight locking box on a metal post above ground at the asphalt pad.
- The watertight locking box will include two (2) new thirty-amp (30a) outlets, one (1) fifteen-amp (15a) outlet. Ensure they are protected from elements and potential floodwaters.
- Install new breaker in the existing utility box.
- Work includes excavation, trenching, installation of utility conduits, backfill, and finish work and asphalt repair.
- Includes installation of three-inch (3”) schedule 80 PVC conduits and outlets rated for exterior use.
- Contractor will loam and hydroseed all disturbed areas.
- All work will be performed in a timely manner to the satisfaction of the Technical Point of Contact and in accordance with the Statement of Work.

This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 238210 with a Small Business Size Standard of $19 Million.
