****************************************Q&As*******************************************************
Q - Will there be a site visit for this solicitation? Or do you have any photos of the tanks that need to be cleaned and repaired? With the 45 day performance period, the chemicals used for cleaning usually require a 3 week process so it would be best to know what we are working with.
A - Site visit is scheduled.
Q - We would like to kindly ask if a site visit or walkthrough can be arranged prior to submission. Given the nature of the work—particularly the fuel system diagnostics and tank inspection—a site visit would help ensure an accurate and informed proposal.
A - Site visit is scheduled.
Q - Is a site visit possible? Without a site visit there is no way to determine if the bad fuel has caused any damage to the fuel system.

Q - Can we take a fuel sample and determine the size of the fuel tank?
A - If there is sufficient fuel present, a sample may be taken. Our records indicate the fuel tank has a capacity of 272 gallons.

A - Generator Serial Number: L160125629
Q - Upon reviewing the Statement of Objectives (SOO), we noted that the serial number listed (SN: 74010944) appears to be for the engine only, rather than the complete generator set. Q- Fuel System Repairs: Are there any known issues with the fuel system that we should be aware of, or will the contractor be responsible for identifying all faults during diagnostics? Fuel system may require replacement.
A - Contractor will be responsible for identifying all faults during diagnostics and repair.
Q - Fuel Tank Cleaning: Are there any specific cleaning agents or methods required for the fuel tank cleaning process?
A - Any/all agents/methods for fuel tank cleaning must comply with manufacturer guidelines/standards and conducted IAW Nellis AFB environmental protection and hazmat/hazcom regulations.
