THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources for: A new IDIQ Contract for insulated shipping boxes and ice packs to ensure the safe and efficient transport of temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals for the Alaska VA Healthcare System (AVAHS) Supply Chain Management Service. The supplier shall supply and deliver completely assembled insulated shipping containers (shippers) and packs as specified. The shippers shall meet applicable standards for quality, safety, and shipping for sensitive items such as pharmaceuticals and vaccines. The shippers shall be light weight, reusable and include foam container and shipping box. The shipper shall maintain temperature range of 2°C to 8°C (35.6°F to 46.4°F) for up to 96 hours and provide consistent cold storage during transit. All requested boxes and/or ice packs shall be delivered to AVAHS within 24 hours of order directly to the pharmacy.
