Cannon AFB, New Mexico (CAFB) is publicizing this SOURCES SOUGHT notice to gather industry information with respect to a potential Service contract for Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) at CAFB.
No solicitation is being issued at this time. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Invitation for Bid (IFB) and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered proposals, nor will any award be made as a result of this SOURCES SOUGHT. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice. Any future solicitation, including specifications will be made available only on the Contract Opportunities website (https://sam.gov/). Interested parties are solely responsible for monitoring the aforementioned website for release of a solicitation package and/or any updates and/or amendments. The Government is seeking to identify qualified, experienced, and interested businesses capable of performing the type of work as described herein.
The following NAICS Code applies to this SOURCES SOUGHT: 221320 (Sewage Treatment plants or Facilities). The size standard for this NAICS is $35,000,000.
CAFB is seeking sources interested in a possible contract to provide Wastewater Treatment Plant Operations and Maintenance at Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico. The contractor shall provide the operation, maintenance and repair of all equipment at the WWTP including, but not limited to, a manual bar screen, a mechanical bar screen, two influent pump stations (one is currently out of service), three Sequencing Batch Reactors (SBR) with total capacity of approximately 1.5 million gallons per day (MGD), one aerobic digester, one chlorine contact chamber, two Screw Pumps, one Huber Grit and Grease Unit, 9 flow meters, grit and sludge drying beds, one Hi-Tech Grit and Grease Unit, one Auger Monster®, one Raw Wastewater Storage Basin with pump, one Effluent Storage Basin with three pumps, one AquaDisk® Filter Unit with cloth media, four SBR aeration blowers (one backup), two digester aeration blowers, six chemical pumps, SCADA system, and one SolarBee. The plant shall operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Such operations shall include general operation of plant equipment, valves and piping, sampling and lab analysis, waste and effluent disposal, and other related services. Facility operations and effluent discharge practices shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory standards, including the New Mexico discharge permit requirements.
