Additional Requirements:
- Space must be contiguous on one floor.
- Five (5) reserved parking spaces required.
- Building must have onsite visitor parking or be located within a walkable quarter mile from street or public parking.
- The office space, elevator and the parking must be accessible twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week.
- The leased space must be free of potential triggers that will frustrate the purpose of the agency’s mission including, however not limited to:
- The leased space cannot be co-located with any entities engaged in the sale of alcoholic beverages, cannabis and cannabis products, or firearms and related products.
- The leased space must comply with all city, state, and federal ordinances.
- Buildings must have the ability to meet facility security level requirements as determined by the federal protection service (FPS).
- Must be able to meet U.S. Courts, U.S. Marshals and other applicable design guide standards.
- Design must be able to accommodate a toilet room that is accessible from the waiting room and located adjacent to the UA prep/analysis room, to allow for an observation window and a specimen passthrough between the two rooms.
- Building must be able to accommodate a secondary egress to allow staff to enter and leave the office without passing through the public reception/waiting area or extensively using the pubic circulation system.
Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease is required. Offered space shall not be in the 1-percent-annual chance floodplain (formerly referred to as “100-year” floodplain).
