Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Diamond State Port Corporation (DSPC) is interested in obtaining proposals from vendors experienced in supplying new Dry Sweepers, along with the ability to provide relevant parts and services. Each new Dry Sweeper shall include the following features: Sweep path: Minimum 50” Hopper: Minimum hopper capable of holding up to 650 lbs. It shall be designed to dump up to 60” with a minimum 14” reach into container. The hopper shall be constructed of a non-corrosive type material with a replaceable hopper bottom and have an access door to place oversized debris in the hopper that sweeper cannot pick up. Sweep System: The main and side brushes shall turn on automatically when lowered. The brushes shall be designed as “no-tool change”. The main brush hub shall have a splined drive recessed into brush core. A string/rope guard shall be included. Drive and Steering System: The Unit shall be designed with rear wheel steering, power steering and a tilt steering wheel to adjust for operators of all sizes and shall include an energy absorbing seat and with armrests. For uneven terrain, the sweeper shall have wide track tires and shall be non-marking.
