This is a "REQUEST FOR INFORMATION" only for the proposed contract work. This is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. Plans and specifications are not available at this time. The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified businesses interested and capable of performing the proposed contract work.
Requirement:
The proposed contract action is for a firm-fixed-priced construction contract. The primary objective of the proposed contract is to resurface existing Minuteman Missile Base Roads consistent with Transporter-Erector (T-E) Route Standards as agreed upon by the United States Air Force, Judith Basin, and Cascade Counties, and Western Federal Lands Highway Division (WFLHD). The application of four inches of new aggregate and calcium chloride, along with isolated subexcavation and drainage improvements, is needed to improve and stabilize the roadway surfaces.
This project consists of work on 8 segments of roads totaling up to 48.90 miles in Fergus County, Montana. The work includes roadway reconditioning, aggregate surfacing, aggregate stabilization, subexcavation, and drainage. The proposed acquisition has five schedules; the length of each is as follows: Schedule A = 12.85 miles Schedule B = 23.38 miles Schedule C = 35.26 miles Schedule D = 43.99 miles Schedule E = 48.90 miles. Only one schedule will be awarded.
The project is located in Fergus County, Montana.
The project is anticipated to go on advertisement in Spring 2025 with construction in Summer 2025.
NAICS Code 237310, Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction apply to this procurement with a size standard of $45 million.
