The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the data/repair data, expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements for the service and repair of ChipCheck: 6650-01-665-6490PR for USAF personnel. The purpose is to provide a source of service/repair capability to the ChipCheck. Quantities are expected to increase over the next five years to reach a BEQ of 70 units that will need service under this contract.
The projected contract is to provide service and repair of fielded ChipCheck equipment. The acquisition is for one basic and 4 (four) one-year priced option periods and is a requirements type contract for services for the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), Propulsion Sustainment Division, AFLCMC/LPS. The contractor shall provide qualified staff, facilities, telephone tech support for field problem resolution, remote equipment diagnostics, maintenance, repairs and parts replacements.
The Government does not have all the technical data for this item; interested vendors should not expect the Government to be able to provide all necessary repair data.
