Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project involves the excavation and off site removal of approximately 23,000 CY of contaminated soil from the site. The site will be capped with 18 inches (12 inches DelDOT type F fill and 6 inches of topsoil) of imported certified clean soil. The main area of excavation will be graded into a wetland along with a new stream alignment adjacent to the wetland. Also included but not limited to are: Erosion and Sediment control and clearing a grubbing. Demolition of building pad, structures, utilities and associated debris within the limits of disturbance of OU-1 and removal from the Site. The installation the appropriate erosion and sediment pollution controls. The realignment of the unnamed tributary running through the NVF site, and extension of one existing culvert. Excavation and removal of the contaminated soil material. Haul all materials offsite. Placement of imported material and grading of the wetland area. Final placement and grading of the soil cap throughout the site and final landscaping and stabilization.
