The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Redstone (ACC-RSA), on behalf of the Program Executive Office (PEO), Combat Support & Combat Service Support (CS & CSS); and the Product Director, Test, Measurement & Diagnostic Equipment (PD TMDE), Redstone Arsenal, AL; as part of the Test Equipment Modernization (TEMOD) Program; is currently seeking sources for a handheld Radio Test Set and/or to verify if industry has, or intends to have in the near future, a single, commercial-off-the-shelf instrument that can replace the Test Set, Radio: AN/PRM-36. This sources sought is to determine if there are any additional manufacturers interested in this acquisition and to maintain the annual Market Research requirement.
PEO CS & CSS, PD TMDE, TEMOD Program is responsible for the acquisition and fielding of state-of-the-art, commercial off-the-shelf/non-developmental items General Purpose Electrical Test Equipment (GPETE). New test equipment is used to standardize the U.S. Army inventory and replace existing obsolete test equipment.
The replacement Radio Test Set shall be lightweight, handheld, and meet and/or exceed the baseline functions and parameters as detailed in the draft Purchase Description TEMOD-23-02 “Purchase Description for the Test Set, Radio: AN/PRM-37/U.” See draft Purchase Description TEMOD-23-02 “Purchase Description for the Test Set, Radio: AN/PRM-37/U.” for further information.
Planned Acquisition
The solicitation announcement and release will include all pertinent information for interested sources to submit their best offers. Bid samples will be required. This procurement will result in a firm fixed price, multiple year, indefinite delivery - indefinite quantity contract.
