Specifications include, but are not limited to:1 SCOPE OF WORK This section outlines the scope of work included to demolish existing duct system as necessary to rework and add new ductwork, registers, and duct boots in order to remodel the first floor VESS area as indicated on the floor plan attachment. All work for HVAC must meet requirements of SMACNA and NFPA. Contractor will provide all means & methods, labor, materials, warranties and any needed rental equipment (installation, start-up and warranty) to complete this portion of work. Refer to the appropriate specification section for further information about installation and preparation methods and components to be provided. The existing floor plan, new floor plan layout and reflected ceiling plan are attached. In general, the work includes, but is not limited to the following items: 1. See Contract Drawings for complete understanding of demolition / construction scope and coordination required for this project. 2. The electrical will be completed by TXDPS staff electricians. Coordinate for Demolition and Construction. 3. Mechanical subcontractor is required to provide signed and sealed mechanical drawings to reconfigure the existing mechanical for maximum performance of existing equipment to accommodate new floor plan layout. 4. Convert existing pneumatic system to Direct Digital Controls (DDC). Existing system controls four (4) zone multi-zone air handlers. 5. Building C Annex has a proprietary building automation system (BAS) that is manufactured by Alerton. This project will require the installation of control products in order to fully function with the existing system. Contractor will provide, install, and warranty the following items: four (4) actuators, four (4) discharge air sensors, hot deck control valve, chilled water control valve, hot deck supply air sensor, cold deck supply air sensor, fresh air actuator, four (4) room sensors, Fan start/ stop control station with status and wiring to fully integrate BAS.
