This project addresses the exhaust airflow capacity of the vehicle exhaust system in the GSA Vehicle Maintenance Building 1794. The air flow capacity of this system was measured by WSMR industrial hygienist, and it was determined that the system airflow capacity is deficient and does not meet the requirements set forth by American Conference of Government Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH). Additionally, some of the systems components are damaged and inoperable. This project will replace the vehicle exhaust system with a system that meets the required flowrate. The details for the system repairs are detailed in WSMR drawing sets WS-1794-2023-G-G1-01.
Work is located at Buildings 1794, located within the fenced compound on the corner of Watertown Avenue and Wesson Street, White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), New Mexico in Dona Ana County. The facility is approximately two miles east of the Main Cantonment.
