This is a Sources Sought Notice. No proposals are being accepted or requested from this notice. 509 CONS/PKB requests interested, qualified sources to respond to this notice. The information sought herein is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a request for quote (RFQ), request for proposal (RFP), or invitation for bid (IFB) or as an obligation or commitment on the part of the Government to acquire any product or service. There shall be no basis for claims against the government as a result of information submitted in response to the sources sought announcement. Consequently, the Government will not reimburse any vendors for the cost incurred to provide information for this effort.
The 509 BW at Whiteman AFB, Missouri, is seeking potential sources to provide recurring and non-recurring maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, parts, and repair for the Giant Voice System, indoor/outdoor mass notification system at Whiteman AFB, Missouri. The contract would be for one base year plus four option years.
The Contractor shall furnish all labor and necessary materials to include but not limited to tools and technical expertise to install/repair systems at Whiteman AFB. All work shall be performed in accordance with National Electrical Code, all local building codes, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements and Industry Standards.
The Contractor is required to be trained and authorized/certified on maintaining ATI Systems equipment such related to the Giant Voice System.
This notice is for market research purposes only and is not indicative of a full requirement. Should a full requirement arise, the full requirement will be detailed in the solicitation, if issued. Failure to respond to this notice does not preclude proposal submittal should a formal acquisition be announced.
Interested organizations may submit their capabilities, and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:00 PM CST on 19 June 2024. Such capabilities and qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining if this procurement can be accomplished on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Sources shall include in their information:
a. A detailed capabilities statement stating their capabilities in providing the same or similar item described in this notice
b. A point of contact with phone and e-mail information,
c. Business status (Socio-Economic Factors: 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business)
d. Business size based on NAICS 334290
e. A positive statement of interest to submit a proposal.
This request for information is not a commercial solicitation and the Government will not pay for any information submitted, or for any costs associated with providing the information.
