This solicitation, SPE60524Q0130, is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for commercial items using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. The contract resulting from this procurement will be a firm fixed price contract. This is a remote site and site POC must be contacted prior to the delivery of fuel. The FAA diesel fuel storage tank for receiving delivery is a 4,000 gallon above ground storage tank located about 100 feet from the Yakataga aircraft parking area. Fuel delivered into this storage tank is transferred by FAA employees to larger storage tanks by the prime power generators which is about ¼ mile from the Runway and is transferred as the fuel is delivered. The only means of delivery to this location is by airplane, onto an FAA 4350 by 75ft turf runway. Fuel cargo plane delivery with hose to fit 2 inches Dry Break Type Fitting with a 1711D-1775D Series Camlock Coupler.
Delivery Ticket Notes: Delivery tickets required. Diesel Fuel Grade No. 1-D S15 (ULSD) (DS1) 0.0015% Cloud Point to -19 Centigrade. Note: Arctic/Alaska Blend with sulfur content less than 0.05% (5000PPM)
Product Note: A lab analysis report to include flashpoint, cloud point, cetane number or index, type additives and contractions to be provided by contractor prior to delivery.
Vendors ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING ALL APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES ARE INCLUDED IN THEIR Quoted PRICEs.
DLA Energy may require a vendor to sign the SF1449 prior to being awarded this delivery. This will be sent by email and may have a response window of as little as two (2) hours. Upon request, the vendor must return the signed SF1449 by the deadline specified. If this is not returned by the specified deadline, DLA Energy reserves the right to offer this delivery to a different vendor.
Electronic Funds Transfer as a means of payment will be made upon receipt and acceptance of all products through Wide Area Workflow (WAWF).
