SITE VISIT/INDUSTRY DAY
An in-person site visit/industry day has been scheduled for October 15, 2024 at the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) in College Park, MD. There will be two (2) separate site-visits, both for the same purpose. The first session will run from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM EST, and the second session will run from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM EST. Vendors planning to attend the in-person site visit must furnish the name and title of its representative, and its selected time slot to Shawn Xiong (shawn.xiong@nara.gov) at least two (2) days prior to the site visit. Vendors are limited to a maximum of two (2) representatives. The purpose of this site visit/industry day is to further NARA’s market research in developing its Distributed Antenna System upgrade requirements. The in-person site visit/industry day will provide vendors the opportunity to inspect the government furnished property; equipment, facility, and site which services are to be performed; and the general and local conditions that may affect the costs and performance of any prospective future contract/order. Vendors are encouraged to share feedback, ask questions, and offer comments during the session. Please note that while questions are welcomed, the Government may be unable to address all questions during the visit and/or responses may be limited. Therefore, vendors are strongly encouraged to submit any questions in writing following the site visit which will be addressed by the Government as deemed appropriate.
Visitation is neither required nor a prerequisite for quote submission under any future solicitation and will not be considered a factor in any future evaluation. Information provided during or in response to this site visit will be used to assess tradeoffs and alternatives available for determining how to proceed in the acquisition process and may lead to the development of a work statement. Industry visitors are solely responsible for all expenses associated with attending the site visit.
