The Biophysics Core Facility provides circular dichroism (CD) measurement services to a number of laboratories involved in both medical and fundamental research. As part of its mission, the Biophysics Core performs sample measurements on the Applied Photophysics Q100 CD spectropolarimeter for a number of projects in collaboration with multiple laboratories. The Q100 CD spectrometer is a complex mechano-optical instrument with a multipart pipetting robot that automatically loads samples, and its regular service is necessary for the continuing operation of this system. This indispensable instrument maintenance includes replacement of consumable parts and is a prerequisite allowing to obtain reliable data in the Biophysics Core Facility. The Biophysical Core Facility is thus requesting the purchase of service contract for the Q100 spectrometer to continue to support the research program with the CD measurement service.
The contractor will supply:
A period of 12 months from the date of purchase and includes:
Two service visits (Minor and Major) from an engineer
