We are conducting market research to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for sustainment support services that will consist of recurring and non-recurring engineering tasks in support of the EWAISF’s SIMNET. Our acquisition strategy is a multi-year contract, minimum of basic plus four option years (with a possibility of an additional 5 option years) to continue through FY34.
The EWAISF’s simulator network aka “SIMNET” is a network of nine (9) Combat Electromagnetic Environment Simulators (CEESIM), one (1) Real Time Infrared/Electro-Optic (IR/EO) Scene Simulator (RISS), and (2) avionics data simulators and a Test Control System (TCS). The SIMNET is capable of providing a synchronized time dynamic operationally representative threat environment to multiple SUTs found throughout the EWAISF simultaneously for coordinated EW system testing.
The projected quantities of non-recurring engineering tasks will be determined by EW system simulation requirements within the EWAISF and may consist of CEESIM technology refreshes, RF source replacements, and miscellaneous spare support as needed.
Projected quantities of recurring engineering tasks in support of the EWAISF’s SIMNET will entail at a minimum on-site and offsite support sustaining engineering services. On-site support will consist of receiving repairs, preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, spares management, calibration, test planning, test development & preparation, test execution, assistance in the creation of simulation scenarios, network management, user account management, information management, application software management, operating system management, network operation, network maintenance, operational assistance/training, and configuration management. Offsite support will consist of repair and replacement services in support of all equipment included in the simulator network.
