This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in
subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, as supplemented with additional information included in
this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written
solicitation will not be issued.
(ii) This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ)
(iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal
Acquisition Circular 2024-03.
(iv) This procurement is set aside for Small Businesses only
. The NAICS code is 562991 - Septic Tank Related Services and the Small Business Size Standard is $9
million.
Background
The Forest Service requires portable toilets and handwash stations in support of Fire and Fuels Management at
Ripplebrook Fire Station. Portable facilities placed at Ripplebrook Fire Station Hwy 224 mile post 49.4.
*Please Note - Ripplebrook is a remote location. It is approx. 28 miles east of the nearest town (Estacada). There is no fuel or stores once you leave Estacada. There is also no cell service. Hwy 224 is a paved road and the Ripplebrook Fire house is right off of Hwy 224. There is easy access.

The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, transportation, (except those designated as Government-furnished), and incidentals for road maintenance activities within the Mount Hood National Forest within the scope of this contract.
