Weapons Training Center (Amended to update Magnintude of Construction)

In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.215‐3, “Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes” this Sources Sought Notice is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the United States Secret Service (USSS).
The content herein is for planning purposes only, and does not constitute a pre-solicitation notice, an invitation for bid, or Request for Proposal (quote) in accordance with FAR 52.215-3. There is no obligation by the Government to purchase the products or services within this presentation unless a formal solicitation or invitation for bid is issued and an order or contract is awarded. All planned procurements are subject to revisions and/or cancellation.
The USSS is conducting a market survey and is seeking qualified companies to provide professional Services to Design and Construct a Weapons Training Center.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The purpose of this request for information (RFI) is to obtain industry input on a rough order of magnitude (ROM) costs for the construction of the Weapons Training Center.
The project consists of designing and constructing a weapons training center on the James J Rowley Training Center (JJRTC) property. The building is approximately 116,950 square feet with three, 50-yard firing ranges, weapons repair workshop, classrooms, firearms instructor offices, breakrooms, locker rooms, a weapons lab, and storage spaces. Detailed information provided in the attachments.
In accordance with FAR 36.204 (h) Disclosure of the magnitude of construction, the current estimated ROM is between $50,000,000 and $100,000,000.
PROCUREMENT INFORMATION:
The proposed project will be a competitive, firm‐fixed‐price construction project outlined in FAR Part 36. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 236220 applies to this procurement. This project is planned for advertising July 2024. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated price range is between $50,000,000 and $100,000,000. The duration of the project is currently estimated at 565 calendar days from the issuance of a Notice to Proceed. However, the results and analysis of the market research will finalize the determination of the procurement method.
