AAW Boxing has been revised. This solicitation will now be conducted under the lowest priced technically acceptable (LPTA) approach, pursuant to FAR 15.101-2. Offerors will be evaluated based on compliance with all stated technical requirements at the lowest price.
Technically acceptability will be determined on a pass/fail of having the resources to include the boxing ring and personnel to staff and administer the tournament. Any proposal that fails to meet the requirements will not be considered for award. This change aligns with our commitment to ensuring the best value for the government while meeting all performance requirements. The evaluation factors are:

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 in conjunction with Part 13 of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The NAICS Code is 711211– Sports Teams and Clubs and the business size standard is $47 million. The Contracting Office is seeking to purchase services to be able to safely and effectively execute this event, Boxing Tournament, including boxing rings, boxing gloves, safety gear, protective equipment, referees, and support staff at Fort Liberty/Pope Airfield, North Carolina. The Performance Work Statement (PWS) is included. Service Contract Act Wage Determinations applies to this acquisition and will be incorporated into the resulting contract. WD # 2015-4377, Revision 19; The wage determination can access at www.acquisition.gov.
The contract period of performance (POP) will begin as shown in the schedule. Any award resulting from this solicitation will be issued on a Standard Form 1449.
