Specifications include, but are not limited to: consists of cleaning and painting the interior and exterior of the existing Lewes Board of Public Works 300,000- gallon elevated storage tank, mobilization, install new anchor bolt nuts on riser and leg foundations, remove/replace riser drain hatch hinges and install padlock, remove existing 20-inch diameter riser manhole and replace with new 30-inch diameter riser manhole with external hinge or davit arm and handholds, remove existing 6-inch diameter internal overflow pipe and relocate to exterior, modify existing 6-inch diameter overflow pipe by installing a new check valve, air gap, concentric reducer, and discharge screen, remove all existing exterior ladders and replace with new OSHA compliant ladders, install new galvanized flexible cable safety climb devices on all new exterior ladders and a new 8-foot aluminum ladder guard at the base of leg ladder, remove existing interior ladders and replace with new OSHA compliant ladders, install new stainless steel flexible cable safety climb devices on all new interior ladders, remove existing catwalk handrails and install new OSHA compliant catwalk handrails, install a self-closing swing gate across the new catwalk handrail opening at the top of the exterior leg ladder, drill approximately ten (10) additional drain holes through the catwalk floor to prevent standing water, install new OSHA compliant roof handrails around the existing 24-inch diameter roof manhole, remove and replace the existing 24- inch diameter roof manhole cover, remove the existing 14-inch diameter center roof vent and install a new 24-inch diameter flanged vent neck and new 18-inch diameter aluminum pressure vacuum vent, remove the existing hanging cathodic protection system and components and patch plate all roof penetrations, fabricate and install new brackets to support the existing insulated enclosure and install new 11/2-inch diameter nozzle penetration for the pressure sensor equipment at base of riser, expose foundation, repair grout and apply sealant, disinfection of interior surfaces, install new gaskets, galvanized nuts/bolts, and secure all tank manholes
