Specifications include, but are not limited to:The purpose of this project is to modernize the Texas Army National Guard’s Fairview Joint use Readiness Center facility in order to mitigate life safety and code related deficiencies currently experienced at the project site. Interior building improvements include architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural and IT/telecom trades. Exterior Building Improvements include miscellaneous site work, site utility modifications and minor building additions. INVITATION FOR BID ­ Project No.TX16­ENG(C)­47; Sealed bids will be received by the Texas Military Department until 2:00 PM Central Time, Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Camp Mabry, Building 37, Austin, Texas 78703 for the Major Maintenance and Renovation of the Camp Mabry Fairview Joint Use Readiness Center, 2200 West 35th St., Austin, TX 78703. The total estimated cost of this project is $8.2 Million. This estimated cost consists of a Base Bid estimate of $4.4 Million, Bid options currently designed and depicted in the Bid Documents with an estimated cost of $1.3 Million, and an additional Bid Option to replace the HVAC system in the portion of the building occupied by the US Navy, the design of which will be distributed via addendum during the bidding phase, with an estimated cost of $2.5 Million.
