Abestos Testing Results posted in Attachments.
Amendment 0002 has been released. An updated CLIN Schedule is in the Attachments. The purpose of the update is to:
1. Add two Option CLINS due to the discovery of Asbestos in the Tile Mastic.
2. Add "Copy of the Oregon DEQ License for the Abatement Contractor" to Submission Requirements. (See Section 00 21 16 - Instructions to Proposers)
3. Update PWS. Attachments for updated PWS AMND0002 dated 10 Apr 2024. Tracked changes are show n.
4. Extend the submittal due date from 01 May 2024 to 06 May 2024.
Offerors are required to acknowledge this Amendment when submitting the quote.

Note to Offerors - The mastic under the tile has tested positive for asbestos. The government is working to update the PWS and Solicitation CLIN Options due to the results. Amendment 0002 is anticipated to be released and uploaded to SAM.gov NLT 16 April 2024.

Amendment 0001 for this solicitation has been released. See Attachments for all the updated documentation. Offerors are expected to review all questions and responses, as well ask acknowledge the amendment. The purpose of this amendment is to:
1. Address questions posed by industry from the site visit (See Attachment "Industry Questions and Responses Through 01 Apr 24")
2. Add two Options CLINS (cove/base or baseboards, update stairs) and incorporate Option Provisions and Clauses. (Offerors will include pricing for both Option CLINS)
3. Remove requirement for bid bond and add FAR Clauses 52.228-13 Alternative Payment Protections and 52.228-14 Irrevocable Letter of Credit.
4. Add FAR 52.236-6 Superintendence by the Contractor.
5. Update PWS.
6.. Extend the due date from 10 April 2024 to 01 May 2024.
*NOTE* Abestos Testing is being done on the tile adhesive. Results of the test will be provided on SAM.gov; the solicitation will be amendended, if required.

Bradford Island Visitor Center at Bonneville Lock and Dam Flooring Replacement
U.S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS, PORTLAND DISTRICT

The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment to replace the flooring on the first floor of the Bradford Island Visitor Center at Bonneville Lock and Dam Project managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Existing flooring (carpet) will be removed and flooring to be upgraded to a durable, low-maintenance, and ergonomic surface. Carpet is not an acceptable replacement.
This solicitation is hereby issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ).
The following solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-04. This solicitation is advertised as a total small business set-aside under NAICS Code 238330, Flooring Contractors with a size standard of $19M. All prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov to be eligible for award. Lack of SAM registration will make an offeror ineligible for award.
