Wildlife Friendly Fencing Phase 1
This is a sources-sought notice / request for information (RFI) only. This is not a request for a quote or proposal. This RFI is issued solely for market research purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. The Government will not reimburse the costs of preparing responses to this RFI. The Government reserves the right to use any information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary to create the resultant solicitation. This RFI is issued by the Bureau of Land Management, Montana/Dakotas State Office, for the purpose of performing market research to determine the availability, interest, and capability of small businesses under NAICS Code 237990- Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction.
Background:
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has a requirement to remove and reconstruct approximately 17 miles of four strand barbed and barbless wire fence located in Beaverhead County, Montana. The nature of the work to be performed is to remove the existing woven (page) wire fence and supporting structures then rebuilding fence on the original footprint to BLM specifications. The contractor will be responsible for disposal of the removed fence.
Magnitude of Construction: Between $250,000 and $500,000
