Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Texas Workforce Commission (the “Agency”) is seeking proposals from Eligible Offerors to develop or replicate streamlined programs that translate military experience, education, and training into civilian credentials to accelerate degree, certificate and licensing programs allowing veterans to more easily re-enter the workforce. Programs developed under this RFP must: 1.2.1.1 result in academic credit that leads to an associate degree or higher, which may include continuing education units or other similar workforce training certifications or credentials; and 1.2.1.2 provide a pathway toward one (1) or more occupations in high demand, other than occupations predominately found in the public sector, as confirmed by the Local Workforce Development Board (Board) in the region the program will be implemented. 1.2.2 Offerors must submit with their proposal the High Demand Occupation – Board Confirmation form signed by an authorized representative of the Board confirming that 1.2.2.1 occupations are in high demand in the region; and 1.2.2.2 are not occupations predominately found in the public sector
