Headquarters, US Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) has a requirement to apply a fertilizer and cover crop seed mix to agricultural fields after the row crops are harvested at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant (IAAAP). To broadcast apply 5# winter white radish seed,5# purple top turnip seed and 100# of Potassium Chloride per acre to ag. tract 20(57 acres), tracts 31/32 (133 acres) and tract 34 (57 acres). To broadcast apply 40-45# winter rye seed and 100# of Ammonium Sulfate per acre to ag. tract 27 (133 acres) and Tract 47 (42 acres). The fertilizer and seed shall be applied within 3 days of the row crop being harvested. Any longer than 3 days would require a pre-approved weather delay. Hay acres are not included in the effort. This requirement will be competed in accordance with the terms and conditions of Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) Number W52P1J-09-G-0001. It is anticipated that this procurement will result in an award to American Ordnance LLC who is the Operating Contractor at IAAAP. Authority for this contract action shall be the Government Property Clause FAR 52.245-1 and will be effected as a task order under the existing BOA that is in place through Calendar Year 2033.
