Description of need - Monthly rental and service of three (3) mobile trailer mounted double chemical toilet units with pintle-hook receiver for emergency use. Impact if not fulfilled - Delay in Installation-wide mission goals and effectiveness.
49 CES does not maintain chemical toilets on hand. While chemical toilets may be purchased, 49 CES is not equipped to also service them. It is more cost effective to utilize a small business in this line of work as they are trained/certified and own the necessary equipment to provide and service chemical toilets.
Lack of readily available chemical toilets, in the case of an emergency, puts mission goals and effectiveness at increased risk as
it may take several hours to have them in place once the need is identified. The impact would be further exacerbated if the
emergency occurred outside of the Contractor's normal work hours or if the Installation was on lock-down.
NOTE: Further revisions or changes may be made and sent out with any future solicitation (if and when a solicitation is issued).
