The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – St. Paul District seeks a contractor to supply one (new) replacement hydraulic dredge cutterhead (with edges installed) and five sets of spare cutting edges.The cutterhead and edges will be used by the Government on the USACE Dredge Goetz, a hydraulic suction cutterhead dredge. The cutterhead is a critical system component, used to move silt and sand from the river bottom in support of maintaining navigation channels on the Upper Mississippi River and other waterways.
The contractor is responsible for supplying one (1) complete cutterhead with replaceable edges installed and five (5) complete sets of spare cutting edges, which meet specs that include:
Cutterhead:
• Direct replacement for VOSTA SC10 Cutterheads
• Smooth edge cutter with replaceable weld on edges with edges installed
• 5 Blade
• 1455mm ID backing ring
• 465mm backing ring to thread start dimension
• Hub with 284mm OD double lead RH thread
• Edges made from Hardox 500 plate
• Universal blade design for option to add T0 or T1 adapters and teeth
Edges:
• 5 complete cutting-edge replacement sets
All equipment and supplies shall be delivered FOB(destination) within 20 weeks of contract date to the Government at Fountain City, Wisconsin.
Price shall include all fees, taxes, import duties, and shipping to destination (USACE Service Base - Fountain City, Wisconsin).
Please include the manufacturer, model numbers, and specifications (i.e. cut sheets) of all equipment/supplies your firm is quoting, to ensure that it meets specifications. Please include the Country of Origin for all equipment/supplies with your quote.
OFFEROR SHALL BE REGISTERED IN SAM (System for Award Management) https://www.sam.gov to include the FAR and DFARS Reps and Certs sections with the NAICS code applicable to the solicitation.
Initial registration and registration renewal in SAM requires Internal Revenue Service verification of Employer ID Number, a process which can take several days or longer to complete.
Quotes must be RECEIVED no later than the Offer Due Date/Time listed in the SAM.gov solicitation posting.
Quotes received after the deadline are considered late, and may not be considered for award.
Quotes must include specific acknowledgement of all amendments to the solicitation (if any).
