Installation of Nevada Historic Marker sign VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System Reno, Nevada The Contractor shall furnish design, labor, materials, and equipment to provide a complete installation. Install one (1) Nevada State Parks System Historic Marker sign on the West side of the property in the grass area adjacent to the area known as the Flag Circle . The Contractor will Procure approved sign, clean, and install in the location described by The VA Project representative. The area will have call before you dig services conducted and cleared before excavation. The site will have a barrier in place to prevent Pedestrians and Staff from being harmed. The Contractor shall submit a structural detail ensuring proper support of the proposed sign. This detail will be approved by the Projects Engineer prior to installation. All work shall be performed during normal business hours. No additional charges will be accepted for overtime. Contractor shall ensure landscaping is brought back to original condition before leaving the project. In the event any irrigation piping, sprinklers, etc. are encountered during work, the COR shall be notified immediately. Any irrigation work to relocate or make repairs shall be the responsibility of the facility. A Plaque meeting sign details and requirements shall be installed on the sign with specified language to be provided. Sign shall be meet all Nevada State Park System requirements. It is the Contractor s responsibility to ensure that design, manufacturing, and installation meets these requirements. Prior to beginning work, the contractor will obtain exact location and orientation of the sign. The sign shall be installed in the grass area, South of the Flag Circle. It will be placed with front of sign facing Locust Street. Sign will be installed next to sidewalk without impeding pedestrian traffic or pose a safety hazard.
