ANSWER: A site visit will be scheduled, however, vendors will be required to have updated asbestos certification and PPE. VA will provide documentation on AHU, photos, assessments, etc. 2. ANSWER: These units are working, but they are at the end of their life expectancy and require immediate replacement. 4. Is this a service and maintenance price request? ANSWER: There is no maintenance component to this contract. 5. Since this is a hospital: our service techs need to be available 24/7? ANSWER: Work should be performed outside of regularly scheduled business hours and during the weekend. 6. When we are working on a unit, do we need to provide alternate air conditioning to the area being serviced by the unit under repair? ANSWER: Per the SOW, contractor must ensure the service area maintains airflow and temperature control through the duration of the work by providing a temporary AHU. 7. Do you know the serial number and make of the AC units carrier, Trane, Goodman etc? ANSWER: Please see question 2. 8. Voltage of the existing units. ANSWER: No Subject Matter Experts on site at the moment to confirm. 9. Locations of the units in relation to the outside of the building for setting temp cooling units. ANSWER: No, this information was provided during the site visit. 10. Can we get some more photos of the units ? ANSWER: No, the purpose of the site visit / walkthrough was to inspect the units. 11. Timetable for beginning of the project and timetable to complete. ANSWER: Period of Performance: 02/01/2024 01/31/2025 12. The scope is very broad, is this project for repair of items up to us to discover or will you be providing a list if what you would like repaired?
