The 355 Contracting Squadron has an upcoming requirement for Western Hemisphere Information Sharing Initiative Operational and Technical Services. Please see below and attached PWS for further information and contact us if you are interested in competing for this requirement.
The Air Operations Center (AOC) weapon system is the senior Command and Control (C2) element of the Theater Air Control System (TACS) and operational level focal point for C2 of air and space forces during Air Force (AF) and combined (coalition)/joint operations. 12th Air Force (12 AF) Air Forces Southern (AFSOUTH), as the Air Force component of United States Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM), is directly supported by the 612th Air Operations Center (612 AOC) in planning and executing both the doctrinal and assigned mission tasks associated with Commander, AFSOUTH's (CDR AFSOUTH) roles and responsibilities as USSOUTHCOM's designated Combined Force Air Component Commander (CFACC). A key specified CFACC task is development of the architecture supporting the USSOUTHCOM Single Integrated Air Picture (SIAP), which is vital to maintaining battlespace awareness across the area of responsibility in an evolving multi- domain environment. The Western Hemisphere Information Sharing Initiative (WHISI) is critical to the CFACC's ability to provide battlespace mission awareness to USSOUTHCOM via the SIAP.
